Description

This five day hands-on course focuses on Cisco Unified Computing System deployment and operations. You will learn how to configure and manage Cisco UCS servers with consolidated I/0 networking for LAN and SAN connectivity and learn how to virtualize server properties to enable simple and rapid mobility of server images between physical systems.

In the lab, you will practice implementing a multitenant management model, configuring fault tolerance, backing up and restoring system configurations and using built-in monitoring and troubleshooting tools in Cisco UCS manager. You will also learn how to install and configure Cisco Nexus 1000v virtual switch on the Cisco UCS infrastructure.


Pre-Requisites

The following prior knowledge is expected from the attendants:

A      server and server virtualization

B      LAN and SAN concepts

C      Cisco MDS 9000 and Cisco Nexus 5000


Course Objectives
